Slovenia opening ceremony
With a opening ceremony in Ljubljana, the second season of the Plazma Youth Sports Games in Slovenia has officially begun!
The City of Ljubljana was a perfect host, where we gathered a large number of children at the beautiful Republic Square. Before the ceremony, the kids competed in dodgeball and a 60-meter race, and enjoyed additional games and activities we organized for them.
Above all, I want to thank the children, who once again showed great interest in sports and socializing here in Slovenia. And specialy we would like to thank the City Administration, led by Mayor of LjubljanaZoran Janković. I also want to thank all our friends and guests who made the beginning of the second season of the Plazma Youth Sports Games even more special. Among them were Aleksander Čeferin, President of UEFA and ambassador of the Plazma Youth Sports Games; Robert Golob, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia; Oleg Butković, Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia; Matjaž Han, Minister of the Economy, Tourism and Sport of Slovenia; Tonči Glavina, Minister of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia; Samo Logar, Deputy Mayor of Ljubljana; Đorđe Miličević, Minister without portfolio responsible for coordination of activities and measures related to the diaspora; Boris Grigić, Ambassador of Croatia to Slovenia; Goran Marković, Ambassador of Serbia to Slovenia; Radenko Mijatović, President of the Football Association of Slovenia; and Marijan Kustić, President of the Croatian Football Federation.
