The “Green Butterfly” Award to the project “Zero Waste – Be part of the game – Let’s protect our planet”

The project "Zero Waste - Be part of the game - Let's protect our planet" was awarded the Green Butterfly, a prestigious recognition for outstanding ecological projects that align with the UN sustainable development goals.

This award, organized by the renowned Večernji list, is part of the significant environmental project Resolution Earth and was given in the category of quality education and gender equality.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Večernji list and our warmest congratulations on Resolution Earth. This project, with its unwavering dedication and remarkable results, has been a driving force for all initiatives in the field of promoting ecology and environmental protection, including our “Zero Waste – Be part of the game – Let’s protect our planet”. In the context of our project, we extend our deepest thanks to our partner, Coca-Cola. Inspired by their global initiative, World without waste, we have collaboratively crafted a project that is now in its third season. This year, we are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our reach to include Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project “Zero Waste – Be part of the Game – Let’s protect our planet” is an innovative approach to promoting environmental awareness among children, young people, and communities throughout Croatia through sports activities. Plazma Youth Sports Games, the largest amateur sports event in Europe whose goal is to promote healthy lifestyles through socializing and sports, recognized the possibility that through its platform, young people can learn about the importance of sustainable development through concrete actions such as sorting and reducing waste. At the same time, they hang out with their peers and participate in sports activities. In our efforts, we must emphasize that Coca-Cola is a global leader in sensibility for socially responsible projects and why we have the opportunity to educate more than 300,000 children and young people with our project every year.
