We officially opened the 12th season of the Games in Serbia

We officially opened the 12th season of the Plazma Youth Sports Games in Serbia! Trg Slobode in Požarevac welcomed more than 2,000 children who took part in sports competitions and joined us in celebrating another season of the Games. The live TV broadcast from Požarevac was aired in as many as nine countries.
We were honored by the presence and support of Ivica Kojić, Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Zoran Gajić, Minister of Sports; Saša Pavlović, Mayor of Požarevac, General Director of Bambi, Gorica Stojković, General Manager of The Coca-Cola Company for Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia, Zoran Blagojević, CEO of Wiener and President of the Executive Board, Ana Kovačević, Group Brand Manager at Bambi a.d., and Nikoleta Šubert, Director of the Life Insurance Sales Directorate at Dunav Osiguranje, our ambassadors Predrag Mijatović and Johannes Hahn, sports legends Predrag Danilović and Dejan Tomašević. We would also like to thank many other sponsor representatives who joined us and continue to support our mission.
The Plazma Youth Sports Games torch, which will once again travel across Serbia this year, was ceremoniously brought into Požarevac by Marko Milenković, knight of the Ljubičevo Equestrian Games, and his aides, accompanied by young participants and the flags of Serbia, Požarevac, and the Games.
Our special day, as always, featured exciting competitions where children played in the Coca-Cola Cup, the largest football tournament in Europe, as well as the Telekom Serbia Cup, volleyball, Millennium Team 3×3 basketball, the regional Wiener Städtische Cup in handball, and the FIDE chess tournament. We also held our sports-ecological initiative “Zero Waste – Be part of the game – Let’s protect our planet” and continued our long-standing campaign against violence in partnership with Dunav Osiguranje.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who celebrated this significant event with us and contributed to creating a better society through sport. We look forward next Monday in Ljubljana, where we will open the 2nd season of the Games in Slovenia!
